A wonderful snap of Oscar taken by Tommy, a recent guest at the farm. Oscar is still going strong at just over 15 years old! It must be the fresh farm air and bowls of healthy food and the tasty snacks and all of the attention which he receives from our guests that keeps him a picture of purrrr-fection!

We have just built our new Bonfire place ready for the coming winter months. We have to make more seating and a saftey area where our young guests can roast mashmeallows! We have kept the original fireplace over by the Thai Kitchen for winter BBQ's but both will be just wonderful to relax on a chilly evening and stargaze!

Meika is not a great fan of the truck but like most young ladies enjoys a shopping expedition! She really behaves so well especially when her favourite snacks are on the list!

There's nothing quite like roasting marshmallows over an open fire even though we are nowhere near to winter yet!

Louis and Daisy went to Chiang Mai University Vet today. It is a new upgraded facility and looks and feels like the best hospital in town! They both had their annual vaccinations and check-ups and were declared fit, healthy and as full of mischief as ever! Next week it’s the turn of Lucy and Meika and then Oscar and Bob!
They get so much attention from the staff that they all enjoy their day out at the Vets!

It's that time of the year that we we have to collect hay for our animals during the dry season....but after all this work we have been experiencing some good out-of-season rain showers so the hay probably isn't necessary but the buffaloes will enjoy it anyway!

Daisy, our black Labrador, is no longer a puppy! She’s an independent girl so much so that she has taken on a job as a GRAB motor bike driver!
I love this photo but of course this is only said in jest!; it couldn’t possibly be our Daisy….as she hasn’t even passed her driving test yet!!

Just a 15 minute ride away from the farm is a
Karen Hill-Tribe Long Neck Village.
It is an interesting short excursion from the farm with several indigenous market stalls and a variety of products to buy. The villagers are only too happy to chat and give you details of their life-style, history, the origin of their Long Neck tradition.
You can also participate in some games of skill based on their traditional homeland in Yunnan Province in central China.
A great morning or afternoon excursion and so close to the farm!
