As you know, we are tucked away in our own peaceful valley surrounded by National Parks and jungle-clad mountains. Because we are nestled in nature rather than a crowded tourist area, there are very few local eateries within a reasonable driving distance. This is why we have traditionally offered our guests a fully inclusive stay with all three meals provided.

However, many of our guests arrive in their own vehicles—whether renting a car in Chiang Mai or driving up to the North from Bangkok. When planning your own day trips, you’ll often find numerous places to eat along your route. For those who prefer more flexibility, a fully inclusive stay isn't always necessary. You might prefer to prepare your own meals, or perhaps just enjoy a prepared breakfast and an evening meal back at the farm.

To give you complete freedom, we are delighted to introduce a Self-Catering Option!

 

The Accommodation & Setup

We have designated The Sunset Room Annex for our self-catering stays. We offer one basic price for the entire annex, which encompasses both The Sunset Room and the adjoining Bunk Room:

  • The Sunset Room: Features a queen-size bed, a comfortable sofa bed, and space to add an extra single bed if needed. It comfortably accommodates 2 adults and up to 2 or 3 children (depending on age), complete with its own private bathroom.
  • The Bunk Room: Equipped with a single bed plus a classic bunk bed (upper and lower single beds), accommodating up to 3 children or 2 adults and 1 child. It also features its own private bathroom.

For families with children staying in the Bunk Room, the main doors of both rooms are just a few steps apart internally. You can easily leave the interior room doors open at night if you wish as there is a central outer door securing the entire annex.

 

Kitchen & Amenities

  • Fully Equipped Kitchen: Outfitted with complete dinnerware, glassware, and cutlery to serve up to 6 guests (additional items are available upon request).

  • Spacious Verandah: A long, wide verandah connects both rooms from the outside, offering beautiful views across the lower pasture and—nature permitting—spectacular sunsets!
  • Private Garden & Panoramic Sala: A short path through your private garden leads to an open-sided sala, offering panoramic views. It’s the perfect spot for enjoying outdoor meals or simply unwinding.
  • Cozy Lounge: Relax in the cozy lounge area, where you’ll find strong Wi-Fi signal to make full use of our complimentary internet.

 

Of course, you are also warmly invited to explore the entire farm and join in all of our daily farm activities, which are included in your stay! For guests arriving by car, we offer safe, covered parking and are always happy to suggest scenic route options for your drive out from town.

To keep things simple, here is how you can tailor your stay in The Sunset Room Annex:

  • Self-Catering (Essential): Includes full use of The Sunset Room, The Bunk Room, kitchen, and all annex amenities as described.
  • Bed & Breakfast: Self-Catering setup plus a full daily farm breakfast.
  • Semi-Inclusive: Self-Catering setup, full daily breakfast, and a freshly prepared evening meal.
  • Fully Inclusive: Self-Catering setup plus all three daily meals.
