Many years ago a friend of the farm, who also happens to be a diviner, came with his pendulum to try and locate the golden Buddha from the sacked temple on the hill (see Farm’s History). Needless to say no Buddha was found but we did discover a hidden natural water spring amongst some rocks and covered with foliage. Our friend declared this as the most auspicious location on the farm, an ideal spot to relax or meditate on your home-stay with us in Chiang Mai province.
So after several years of delay, due to involvement in other projects on the farm, we have finally made a small sala next to the hidden spring and look forward to the time, when we have it (!), to go and unwind in this peaceful spot on the farm.

Naak and Nouy are our two pink buffaloes who we rescued from a very grisly future. The first few pictures are from when we got them and as you can see they have grown in size and are much healthier now. They are unbelievably affectionate and friendly and they like nothing more than an evening wash and scrub down in the lake! They roam at will around the farm and go their pen by themselves at night and are usually up and about or in the lake by sunrise.
Because of their docile nature and Naak & Nouy are very popular with our farmstay guests and visitors. If you've never seen a pink buffalo then come visit us at the farm, we are just an hour away from Chiang Mai city. There is much to see and do in and around the farm so you may want to consider a short relaxing stay with us. |
