IIzzie was born to Bongo and Lucy. She hadn't really been unwell but more frail over the past 2 months and I had to pick her up onto her hind legs as she couldn't manage it herself but I was able to take her for short, slow walks around the farm and she still had an enormous appetite. She enjoyed very good health in her life and never got upset, growled or showed her teeth; she had the most wonderful temperament. She never wore a collar around her neck and could roam anywhere she liked on the farm but she especially loved to be driven around in the sidecar! She was over 12 years old which is a good age for a Labrador. She had her evening meal, went to sleep but never woke-up. ... all that said we are going to miss her terribly and the farm will not be quite the same without her. We are all very, very upset but we give thanks for having such a beautiful dog, a wonderful friend and constant companion and to have shared so many very happy memories. Rest easy our dearest Izzie, you will always be in our hearts.
