We bought a little second-hand Suzuki 4 x 4 Jeep to tackle some of the rougher jobs in and around the farm. We refurbished her inside and out as being 11 years old she needed some TLC! Her engine and all of her moving parts were checked and componants replaced as necessary. Now she's in the very best of health and performing magnificently! We have yet to fix a front crash bar with some spotlights for the very dark winter months but just shows you that there is life after 11 years of age! Just the latest snap of our Hero! No longer a puppy but a very handsome young man but retaining his foxy good looks! Hero has taken to staying in the village where he spent his very early days.You will often see him sleeping outside of our village store. But when Joy comes to the farm each morning she calls Hero and he trots beside Joy's motorbike because he knows that breakfast is about to be served. After a hearty meal he strolls back to the village. Then he visits for lunch and the same for supper!..each time having a quick play with the other dogs and then he's off to the village to sleep. So when you pass the village shop on your way to Thung Dong Farm Stay give Hero a whistle and he will follow you anywhere...so long as there's food in his bowl!  |
