Instead of an array of different bath and hand towels we now have our own soft Thung Dong Farm towels for our valued guests. As we send all of the guest linen and towels into Chiang Mai to be laundered (on the farm we use water from mountain rivers which we pipe to the farm) and by standardizing the towels which we give to our guests it makes life a lot easier and less complicated. (That's what Joy says anyway!)
We hope that you like them for your next visit to Thung Dong Farm Stay!

Couldn't help but to post this snap! It looks as though Naak, our friendliest and most intelligent of pink buffaloes decided to take a 'selfie' and Jay, Joy's son, just happened to get in on the act! This is just a perfect snap to post even if Naak didn't really take it herself!
At last we have bottled some of our superlative, vintage Wild Jungle Honey in smaller bottles so our guests can take this wonderful flavour of the Thai country-side home with them! All of our honey is 100% Pure collected from wild bee colonies and the taste of which varies with the seasons depending which flowers are in bloom. Next time you visit Thung Dong Farm Stay take away happy memories and little drop of nectar in a bottle!
........and just two days after Maggie gave birth our Ethel followed suit with 8 baby piglets of her own! So that makes 19 new 'Babes' around the farm, so cute, full of mischief and little miracles of nature!
4.00 am, 29th September. A quick snap from my mobile just 10 minutes after the last of 11 piglets were born to our Maggie! All very healthy and a very proud mother...again! Congratulations Mags!
Now that the rains are subsiding giving way to the cool season the villagers came up to the farm to help us build a new foot / motorcycle bridge to replace the one that was swept away by the river torrent a few weeks back. So many thanks to all for a good days work and hoping that this bridge will last....at least until next year!
