Since I was small I had always wanted a dog but circumstances never allowed such an opportunity but I promised myself that if I did ever have such a companion I would call him ‘Bongo’ a name that I had read in a kids adventure book! So a few years after acquiring the land and working hard to make it habitable and transform it into the farm I decided then was the time. Ideally I wanted a pedigree Golden Labrador but after searching throughout Thailand I almost gave up hope.
Then one day Nack called me and said that he had found the perfect litter in the dog market in Chiang Mai. So I rushed into town as they were all about to be shipped down to some uncertain future in Bangkok. I would have bought them all if I could! Our boy was easy to select as all I did was to call out ‘Bongo’ and he came running, falling over his legs as he did so! As a puppy he was the cutest I had ever seen and he had a pedigree and we all knew immediately that we could never part with him. That all happened just over 9 years ago and Bongo celebrated his birthday this 7th March. (Dang the cow is just a few months older). Bongo has since sired 37 of his own pups. Thung Dong is the only home he has ever known and Bongo makes our farm complete! I hope that you enjoy this gallery of our Bongo’s Story! Ae

Buying gold with an IRA can be a smart way to diversify your retirement portfolio and hedge against inflation. It allows you to invest in physical gold while benefiting from the tax advantages of an IRA. However, it’s important to understand the rules and fees involved to ensure you’re making the best decision for your long-term financial goals.
